Abscisic acid affects the floret numbers of inflorescence by regulating indole-3-acetic acid transport and accumulation in Lavandula angustifolia

چکیده

Lavender flower essential oil had been used for a variety of therapeutic and cosmetic purposes. Previous studies mainly focused on composition extraction methods, ignoring the factors that affected production oils, such as floret number. This study aims to get deep insight into mechanism number differences. Hormone analysis showed there was positive correlation between abscisic acid (ABA) content florets, while indole-3-acetic (IAA) negatively correlated with numbers. RNA-Seq results 1 035 differentially expressed genes (DEG) can be identified, which 19 were significantly enriched in carotenoid biosynthesis pathway. Common network expression key ABA pathway metabolism related DEG IAA, especial IAA18. Exogenous IAA inhibited lavender florets genes. The might useful better understanding molecular

Inhibition of Polar Indole-3-acetic Acid Transport by Cycloheximide.

Cycloheximide inhibits polar indoleacetic acid transport in midrib tissues of leaves of citrus (Citrus sinensis [L.] Osbeck) and poplar (Populus deltoides Bartr.) as measured by the donor-receiver agar cylinder technique. It appears that the mechanism of auxin transport inhibition by cycloheximide consists in arresting protein synthesis and not in the disruption of energy flow. The interpretati...

Transport of the two natural auxins, indole-3-butyric acid and indole-3-acetic acid, in Arabidopsis.

Polar transport of the natural auxin indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) is important in a number of plant developmental processes. However, few studies have investigated the polar transport of other endogenous auxins, such as indole-3-butyric acid (IBA), in Arabidopsis. This study details the similarities and differences between IBA and IAA transport in several tissues of Arabidopsis. In the infloresce...

Transport of indole-3-butyric acid and indole-3-acetic acid in Arabidopsis hypocotyls using stable isotope labeling.

The polar transport of the natural auxins indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) and indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) has been described in Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana) hypocotyls using radioactive tracers. Because radioactive assays alone cannot distinguish IBA from its metabolites, the detected transport from applied [3H]IBA may have resulted from the transport of IBA metabolites, including IAA. To test...

Immunolocalization of Endogenous Indole-3-Acetic Acid and Abscisic Acid in the Shoot Internodes of Fargesia yunnanensis Bamboo during Development

The Bambusoideae subfamily includes the fastest-growing plants worldwide, as a consequence of fast internode elongation. However, few studies have evaluated the temporal and spatial distribution of endogenous hormones during internode elongation. In this paper, endogenous indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) and abscisic acid (ABA) were detected in different developmental internodes during shoot elongati...
